Brisbane City Area

Like other city, Brisbane also has its central business district with some office buildings, hotels and malls. In Brisbane, most crowded street surrounded by malls along the street is Queen Street. You can find many store and food stalls here. From Subway to Nine West, or maybe just wanna sit and take a break for awhile you can find many lawn chair around the street. Best time to come here is on Friday night, when many stores open until late.

This area on above picture is Southbank, where you can find set of sand and beach look-a-like the real beach, except the salty water. The location is across the city area, near wheel of Brisbane and next to Griffith University. My suggest, do come here on the weekend so you can do some window shopping around the weekend market along the street and found many interesting handmade stuff.

UQ at St. Lucia

On last Thursday I went to one of the best university in Brisbane, University of Queensland. First I entered the gate, I felt like the same environment with my college in Indonesia. Quiet and shady. Actually that was their lunch time, so many student laying on the green grass enjoying their lunch.

Above is one of their cafetaria. The price is slightly different in the city, a bit pricy for student I thought.

After The Rain

Last night my in law came up with a brilliant idea to killing my time while I am here. Posting some photos took by me around the city. He even let me borrow his SLR camera to complete my attire while biking around the city and search for the object. This is my 10th days I've been here, still many days to go ahead and many photos will come up. I take it as my leisure time while I can also more and more knowing all those best part of this city. I am not a photographer, I don't have any lesson to study more about photo, I just follow my heart to catch some beautiful scenery I've been seen and take it for my mnemonic. Here I present my first 'serious' work with this photo thingy.
